History of Hospice of Montezuma, Inc.
Hospice in the Four Corners area first began in October of 1985 with a training program for a handful of staff and volunteers.
In 1988, Hospice of Montezuma, Inc. became a licensed non-profit corporation in the state of Colorado.
In 1999, the Colorado Hospice Organization recognized the agency as the 1999 “Program of the Year.”
Over the years we slowly increased our base of operations, until the present time when we serve clients within a 75 mile radius of Cortez.
With a renewed commitment to providing the best end of life care possible for the residents of the Four Corners area, Hospice of Montezuma is looking forward to serving the needs of the community in the future.
