Healing camp for kids was help September 22nd, 2007 at the San Juan Bible Camp by Hospice teaming up with Medicine Horse Therapeutic Riding Center
They sponsored a two day camp for children whom have experienced the death of a loved one. The camp was free and was open to children from 6 years to 16 years of age. The camp was facilitated by licensed mental health professionals whom had experience with children and adolescents.  Activities included expressive arts, games and horse assisted therapy.  For more information or to register for next year please call (970) 565-4400.
